Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Overview

At HongKong Zhige Tech Limited, all of our electric bikes are backed by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner from the date of purchase. This warranty gives you peace of mind and confidence in the quality of your e-bike.

(Please note that free accessories included with the bike are not covered under this warranty.)


2. Warranty Period & Eligibility

  • The warranty is automatically registered when the original purchaser places an order and receives the e-bike from our official online store.

  • This warranty applies only to the initial purchaser.

  • Warranty transfer to a new owner is possible only if:

    • The original 2-year warranty period has not expired; and

    • The new owner can provide the original purchaser’s name and the order number.


3. What’s Covered

Frame

  • All e-bike frames are covered for 2 years.

  • We will replace any frame that is proven to have a manufacturing defect.

  • Replacement frames may be provided in any available color or compatible style if the original is out of stock.

  • Excluded from coverage:
    Corrosion, scratches, impact damage, non-reversible modifications (e.g., drilling, welding), or damage caused by improper use.

Battery

  • Batteries are covered under a 2-year prorated warranty.

  • Defective batteries will be repaired or replaced at no cost during the first 2 years.

  • The warranty period does not reset after replacement.

  • Excluded from coverage:
    Damage due to misuse, abnormal exposure (water, chemicals, dirt), improper charging, use of non-compatible chargers, or use in other devices.

Parts & Components

  • Original parts and components are covered by a 1-year warranty.

  • If replacement is required within the warranty period, simply contact our support team.

  • Excluded from coverage:
    Cosmetic wear, parts damaged due to accidents, abuse, improper installation, regular wear and tear, and damage from unauthorized modifications.


4. How to File a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please email our support team at support@hongkongzhigetech.com with:

  • Your proof of purchase

  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue

Before filing a claim, we may help troubleshoot your issue — sometimes a simple fix solves the problem without needing a warranty replacement.

Valid claims within the warranty period will be processed promptly. In most cases, you may be responsible for shipping costs for returning parts, unless otherwise arranged.


5. Shipping Damage Claims

Items damaged during transport should be reported within 7 days of delivery. Please provide photo or video evidence so we can assist you with the claim.


6. Other Terms

  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

  • The warranty may be voided if the bike has been altered in a way that affects its performance or safety.
