In-store and online purchases
When you purchase from SaleeBike, we may collect contact and payment information to process your purchase, communicate with you about your order, and provide requested services such as delivery, pick-up, product servicing, installations, or extended warranty coverage. If you provide an email address we may send an e-receipt.
We may share a hashed version of your email address and limited transaction details (date, time, postal code, transaction amount) with third-party providers such as advertising and analytics vendors (for example, Google) to measure and improve our digital marketing campaigns and to show you relevant ads on our properties and third-party platforms.
Returns and exchanges
To process returns and protect against fraud, we may request contact information and may ask for photo ID for verification purposes only.
Applying for financing
If you apply for financing with a third-party provider, that provider will collect financial information necessary to approve and manage your account. We encourage you to review the financing providerās privacy policy when applying.
Insurance replacement
To process insurance replacements we may collect contact information, claim numbers, and adjuster information to bill your insurer directly.

Email a friend
Our "Email a Friend" feature sends a one-time message to a friend you nominate. We will not add that friend to a mailing list without consent.

Call centers
When you contact our support teams we may collect personal information to respond to your inquiry and may monitor or record calls for training and quality assurance. If you do not want your call recorded, please let us know and we will provide an alternative.
In-store video surveillance
Where applicable, retail locations may operate video surveillance for safety and loss prevention. Footage is reviewed only when required and may be used for demographic or traffic analysis.
Information collected automatically
When you use our Site we may automatically collect technical information such as:
- IP address, ISP IP, date/time of access, referring website;
- Operating system, browser type, pages visited, content downloaded;

Web site tracking and interest-based advertising

When is your information removed

You may access and update your account information through your SaleeBike account. You may also request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion subject to legal exceptions. Data on returned products
Before returning a product that may contain personal data (computers, phones, cameras, smart devices, etc.), you are responsible for removing your data. SaleeBike is not responsible for data left on returned items.
How to manage your preferences
Use our Preference Centre to manage marketing preferences and cookie choices. You can opt out of promotional emails or interest-based advertising there. Note that transactional or account-related messages may still be sent even after unsubscribing from promotional communications.
Account closure and personal information requests
You can request to close your SaleeBike account (which will deactivate it) or submit Personal Information Requests to: access, receive a copy, correct, or delete personal information we have collected. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Other important information
Cross-border transfers
Our service providers may store or process personal information outside of Canada. In such cases your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take steps to protect information transferred across borders.
Product safety recalls
If a manufacturer issues a safety recall, we may provide your contact details (name, address, telephone) to the manufacturer so they may notify you and offer replacement or repair programs for safety-related recalls.
Age verification
To create an account or purchase certain products online, users must meet the age of majority in their province. If we determine a user is underage, the account may be blocked or deleted. For some age-restricted products we may request verification at checkout.
